What does a day look like?
Generally, children learn about Core Subjects in the morning, this includes the following:
Key Stage 1 and Lower Junior breaktimes are at 10:30am and finish at 10:45am.
Upper Juniors breaktimes are at 10:50am and finish at 11:05am.
Children are allowed to eat healthy snacks at this time. These may include fruit, vegetables, rice cakes or breadsticks. Crisps, chocolate, biscuits and popcorn are not permitted.

Lunch is staggered at Ladywood Primary School:
Lunchtime games are provided and supervised by our dinner staff. Sports Leaders are on the playground every lunchtime providing games for children to join in with.
After lunch, children learn about the foundation subjects such as History, Art & Design, PE and Computing. For a full list and further information about our curriculum please use the following link:
The school day ends at 3:15pm. Early Years and Key Stage 1 children can be collected from the playground. Upper School children can leave through the green gate. Staff are always available at the end of the day and any children who have not been collected (unless arrangements have been made for them to walk home alone) will be taken to the school office to wait.
We are open for 32.5 hours per week.
